Joe Biden cancer: Former President Joe Biden is undergoing radiation and hormone therapy as part of a new treatment phase for an aggressive prostate cancer diagnosed after he left office, aide Kelly Scully said Saturday.
Biden, 82, ended his re-election bid last year following a widely criticised debate performance against Republican Donald Trump. Trump later defeated Democrat Kamala Harris, who served as Bidenās vice president.

Bidenās post-presidential office disclosed in May that he had prostate cancer with bone metastases, identified after he reported urinary symptoms. His cancer carries a Gleason score of 9, indicating a highly aggressive form of the disease. Radiation and androgen-deprivation (hormone) therapy are commonly used together to slow tumour growth and manage symptoms in advanced cases.
Last month, Biden also underwent the removal of skin cancer lesions from his forehead, his office said.
No additional details on treatment duration or response were provided.
